Even before FasTracks was approved, RTD was responsible for the prudent and effective management of hundreds of millions of dollars a year. Now, thanks to your support, that figure is in the billions.

The exponential growth in RTD’s budget brings with it an even bigger responsibility to spend that money wisely. That is why I will be vigilant in demanding accountability and transparency in RTD’s spending practices, key elements to preserving and maintaining public trust. Along these lines, I am pleased to announce that I will have a front row seat in reviewing RTD’s finances as the Board’s appointed Audit Committee Chair and Vice-Chair of the Financial Administration Committee.
