Putting the passenger first

Courteous, prompt and responsive service are the hallmarks of a healthy transit system. I intend to keep these important values front and center in my drive to enhance customer service at RTD.

One focus for me in this area is meeting the service needs of our growing population of older adults. Accessibility, affordability, convenience and comfort are especially important to this aging demographic, though these are issues that impact all of us. I will work to ensure that RTD addresses all these elements in its future service plans.

RTD also needs to do a better job of attracting customers who have the luxury of choice in how they travel. One bad experience – a rude driver, dirty seat or skipped stop – can cause RTD to lose these rider for years. Keeping quality service a top priority will help ensure that we continue to attract new riders while retaining existing ones.
Your own experience with RTD is important to me, as well. If you have suggestions for improvements to RTD services or facilities, I look forward to hearing from you.
